For a good while now, Virtual Football games were pretty similar. The games, such as Instant Soccer at bet365 Games, or Virtual Football that is available at bet365 Sport tended to follow a similar template when it came to how they were organised.
Your typical Virtual Soccer game would have a period of time where players could look through the betting markets and select which bets that they would like to make and then this would be followed by the highlights of the game, followed by the end result and the payout of any winning bets. Newer versions of Virtual Sports, such as Instant Soccer on bet365 Games, would allow you to skip the highlights to speed up the game.
If you enjoy Virtual Sports but are based somewhere that bet365 Games or bet365 Sport is not available, such as Pennsylvania in the United States, then you need to look elsewhere to find similar offerings. Virtual Sports is growing in popularity slowly in the U.S so why not see if a site like PlaySugarHouse has options for you? You can sign up using the latest playsugarhouse promo code from the link to see what the site has available.
However, it soon became apparent that there were potentially other ways to do Virtual Sports games and in particular Virtual Soccer. In Virtual Horse Racing for example, you have the option of jumps racing, as well as flat racing, while now there are short sprint races available and even a Virtual Grand National race too.

So, with that in mind, the next generation of Virtual Soccer games was developed and one of these games is now available at bet365 Games. It is called, perhaps a little unimaginatively, Virtual Soccer and it offers football fans something very different to the standard Virtual Football game.
How is Virtual Soccer different?

The main thing to note with Virtual Soccer is that its set up is entirely different to other virtual football games you can play. Instead of betting on the outcome of a generated fixtures using a set of predetermined bets and then viewing the highlights of this game, Virtual Soccer instead attempts to replicate an entire football season.
How does it do that? Well the devil lies in the detail and in truth the way that the game has been designed is simple, but very effective.
A number of leagues have been set up under the same parameters, which is essentially a league of 20 teams, which produces a 38-game season. For each game week of the season, 10 fixtures are played and you can bet on the outcome of these fixtures (home win, away win or a draw). This is the only bet you can make on the games.
The other bet that is available, but only for the early part of the season, is a bet on which team will eventually win the league, although once you have played a certain number of games, usually around a quarter to a third of the season, this option is then no longer available.

Each of the 38 game weeks of the season is split into 75 second sections and during this period, players can place any bets on the games that they would like to. Once the 75 seconds has elapsed, then the results of that game week are then displayed, the league table is updated and the next game week starts immediately.
The big difference here is that there is no highlights package of any game. You simply see the results and the league table, although you can also access plenty of other data about the current seasons and even past seasons, from the different options on screen. As such, this makes Virtual Soccer one of the few Virtual Football games that actually retains the data and puts the games in a genuine, real-world context. That enhances the realism of the game a great deal.
- Massive choice of options

What is truly incredible about Virtual Soccer is the sheer number of options there are available for players when it comes to the different leagues you can play. In total there are 57 different league competitions you can bet on, that includes all the major leagues from around Europe and the world, including the Premier League, Sky Bet Championship plus League’s One and Two, as well as La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, Ligue One and many more.
Each league runs consecutively with the others, so each league will be at matchday 3 of the season at the same point. You can scroll through all the leagues and bet on one or more of them on any given match day, which makes it very flexible for punters that like to bet across a number of different leagues.
In addition, what also adds to the realism is that each of the 57 leagues has been set up to replicate, in as much accuracy as possible, the various strengths and weaknesses of the teams in each league for that season. So for example in the Premier League, Liverpool and Manchester City are amongst the stronger teams. In France it is Paris St Germain, in Spain, Real Madrid and Barcelona and so on.
Of course, some leagues that have fewer or more than 20 teams have had to have a couple of teams added or omitted to make up the numbers but in truth that doesn’t really affect the realism of the game.

Data available on each team includes their performances over their last six matches in the competition, as well as historical data on how every team has performed in every league over the last few seasons. You can also scroll through the results for your chosen league for the current or past seasons too.
This adds a whole new element to Virtual Football games in that players can now do a little research about their team and while the game is still heavily influenced by random factors, Liverpool or Man City won’t win the Premier League every season for example, and other teams can go on good runs of form to win the title, even at lengthier odds, it does mean players can actually do a little research to help inform their bets.
Virtual Soccer is an exciting new way to enjoy a different form of football virtual. However, I can see ways already in which this could be improved including increasing the betting options for each game, perhaps incorporating players into each team (so you could bet on goalscorer markets) and perhaps including promotion and relegation into the league system, so each season sees teams move up and down the leagues.
If you want to try Virtual Soccer, it is available to play right now at bet365 Games, along with Instant Football and you can play the original Virtual Football at bet365 Sports.
