It’s not too often that we feature Coral Sports Betting on these pages, but occasionally the site does come up with some offers, promotions or betting markets that really does catch our eye and offers something different to what we can get at bet365 Sport.
One prime example of this is betting on the big summer Football Transfers that may, or may not, occur over the next couple of months as teams start their rebuilding process ahead of the new season which starts in August.
So in this article, we are going to take a look at the different transfer markets available for you to bet on with Coral right now, and give you a bit of context for each market and which of the options are probably the best for you to back, if you fancy having a bet on which player will move where.
Of course, this will impact each team’s chances of winning the Premier League next season, especially if they let a star player leave, or sign a superstar to the squad.
Let’s now take a look at the bets available currently with Coral, although markets may be added to, or suspended if more rumours of transfers, or news comes in of a player signing for a club.
The bet is made on where the player will be playing at the end of the summer transfer window.

Summer Transfer Bets At Coral – 2022
Declan Rice (West Ham United)
David Moyes has already stated it would take an astronomical bid upwards of ÂŁ150m for any team to land Declan Rice this summer. That may be an attempt to ward off teams looking at the 23-year-old midfielder, but it may not stop the top teams showing real interest as the odds on four possible destinations suggest:
- Manchester United – (3/1)
- Chelsea – (9/2)
- Manchester City – (10/1)
- Liverpool – (16/1)
I am a little baffled to see United top of the list here. It is a huge outlay for them and with so many needs and a new manager who will likely know of cheaper alternatives available in Europe, I can’t see United splashing the cash.
I think Manchester City’s needs in the market are now more defensive than midfield, unless they are set to sell a player in which case a big bid could come in, but I think in Rodrigo, City already have a Rice-type of player.
That leaves Chelsea and Liverpool and while I think Rice is a perfect replacement for Jordan Henderson at Liverpool, I think his close friendship with Mason Mount, plus Chelsea being linked with a move to sell N’Golo Kante to Paris St Germain, could well see Chelsea’s new owners splash out to sign Rice, who has already said his preferred move would be to Chelsea.
Our Tip – Liverpool won’t spend £150m to land Rice, but the new owners of Chelsea (9/2) will need a statement signing and Rice looks likely a good bet to be it.
Eden Hazard (Real Madrid)
After suffering a nightmare time with injuries since joining Real Madrid, combined with a loss of form when he has played, there are many speculating that Eden Hazard’s time at Madrid may well be at an end.
The Belgian ace still shows flashes of brilliance and I think Real Madrid may well be tempted to keep him another year, unless a team offered them significant money for a player who has failed to shine in the Spanish capital.
According to Coral, there are four teams in the running for Hazard:
- Chelsea – (9/2)
- Newcastle – (8/1)
- Arsenal – (9/1)
- Tottenham – (12/1)
I’m ruling out Arsenal and Tottenham immediately as I can’t see Hazard moving to another London club other than Chelsea, which would seemingly put Chelsea at an advantage.
The problem I have with that move though is that Chelsea don’t really need a player in Hazard’s position as they have plenty of options (Havertz, Werner, Hudson-Odoi, Ziyech, Pulisic or even Barkley or Loftus-Cheek) who can play a similar role.
As such, I think Hazard could become the face of the new look Newcastle with the Magpies new owners seeking a statement signing that can elevate their club to the next level.
Our Tip – Back Hazard to sign for Newcastle (8/1) as a statement move by the new board at the club.

Frenkie De Jong (Barcelona)
Since Xavi came in at Barcelona, De Jong has found game time more difficult to come by as the Spaniard looks to La Masia’s youngsters to form the basis of his midfield at the Catalan Giants.
De Jong therefore looks surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp, and it just so happens that one of the four teams is in dire need of a top-quality central midfielder.
- Manchester United – (4/7)
- Paris St Germain – (9/4)
- Manchester City – (7/1)
- Bayern Munich – (16/1)
That team is Manchester United and of course, with ex-Ajax boss Erik Ten Haag coming in, who managed De Jong as a youngster at Ajax, I think the fates have aligned for United here to make the obvious and much needed signing.
Our Tip – This should be easy – Manchester United (4/7) need De Jong for many reasons, not least because he is a massive improvement on their current midfield options.
Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City)
Gabriel Jesus playing time at Manchester City was limited already before City agreed a deal for striking superstar Braut Inge Haaland and now that the Norwegian ace has been confirmed as a City player for next season, Jesus looks likely to be offloaded.
Pep Guardiola is not in the mindset of letting Jesus go to a Premier League rival, which kind of rules Liverpool and Chelsea out, not that either team would want him. But there are some potential teams in the running for the Brazilian star:
- Arsenal – (1/2)
- Tottenham – (5/1)
- Juventus – (10/1)
- Paris St Germain – (16/1)
Juventus look a decent outside bet here to me, but I think this deal is all but sorted, Jesus will likely be an Arsenal player last season as Guardiola and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta are good friends and I think Arsenal are not viewed by City as a genuine threat to their dominance at the moment.
Our Tip – If Jesus goes abroad, it will be to Juventus, but I think he is much more likely to sign for Arsenal (1/2).

Jesse Lingard (Manchester United)
Available on a free transfer after his contract ran out, the Manchester United and England midfielder has plenty of potential options according to Coral:
- West Ham – (11/10)
- Newcastle Utd – (3/1)
- AC Milan, Juventus – (10/1)
- Inter Milan, Leicester, AS Roma – (12/1)
- Arsenal, Tottenham – (16/1)
It is well known that after a successful loan spell at the club last season, Lingard is very much wanted by West Ham, hence their short price, but I also feel Newcastle would be a solid landing place for the ex-United man.
I can’t see Spurs, Arsenal or Leicester being realistic options for Lingard, and of the foreign teams listed, I feel AS Roma, where his ex-manager Jose Mourinho is in charge, may well be most likely option of those trio.
Our Tip – I think West Ham (11/10) will get their man this time around.
Raphinha (Leeds United)
Leeds just managed to stay in the Premier League last season, but Brazilian international Raphinha may have played his last competitive game for the club as he continues to be strongly linked with a move away.
Almost all the top clubs around Europe have been linked with the Brazilian at one time or another and there is no doubt a number of those teams are keeping close tabs on the winger, with his performances subject of many scouting reports.
Teams set to be in the mix for Raphinha this summer include:
- Barcelona – (4/7)
- Manchester United – (7/1)
- Newcastle United – (8/1)
- Chelsea – (14/1)
- Liverpool – (14/1)
Barcelona seem to be the favourites here but with Fati, Aubameyang, Dembele, Torres and Depay in their squad, I think Barcelona would need to sell at least two of those players in order to create room for Raphinha, and he would cost a lot more than they’d want to pay too.
Manchester United are one potential option, the Red Devils have Jadon Sancho and Anthony Elanga as their main wide players with Mason Greenwood’s situation still unknown but the club also have Marcus Rashford in their ranks who can play a wider role as well as a more central one.
Newcastle have money to spend and may look at Raphinha as being able to play opposite Allen Saint-Maximin, but I think the Leeds player would be looking to go a team at least in European competition.
If Sadio Mane leaves Liverpool, the Reds could be a potential landing spot but with Liverpool signing Luis Diaz in the last window and Fabio Carvalho from Fulham at the start of the summer, I think they’d only come into the reckoning if the price was right.
Our Tip – I think this is a battle between Manchester United and Newcastle and I’m backing Raphinha to be a part of Erik Ten Haag’s new look Manchester United (7/1) next season.

Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)
The Polish goal machine has made it clear that he wants to move on from Bayern Munich after a hugely successful spell in Germany, first with Dortmund and secondly with Bayern. At 33-years-old, his best days may be behind him, but he still remains one of the very best strikers in world football.
So it isn’t so much of a case of if Lewandowski will move on, it is simply who to. Coral have the following odds available on these three options:
- Barcelona – (4/9)
- Paris St Germain – (10/1)
- Manchester United – (16/1)
A lack of Champions League football, plus Cristiano Ronaldo being at the club in his position means a move to Manchester United is very unlikely. And PSG, now that Mbappe has decided to stay, also looks an increasingly unlikely prospect as he would not fit in to a front three of Neymar, Messi and Mbappe.
So Barcelona is probably the smart money here. The Catalans have not got much money to spend, but with no transfer fee involved, they could create room for Lewandowski by moving on some players to create wage bill space to pay the Polish striker the big money he would crave.
Our Tip – Barcelona (4/9) is by far the most likely destination for Lewandowski. The other two teams just don’t fit the bill for the Pole.
Sadio Mane (Liverpool)
Liverpool’s striking superstar is reportedly considering a move away from Anfield as he enters the final year of his contract. Purportedly earning just £100,000 a week, compared to some of the Anfield stars who earn double that amount, the Senegalese star has been in superb form for the Reds despite their Champions League loss to Real Madrid.
His club, Liverpool, are reportedly not wanting to sell but would let him go for the right price, but as yet, prospective buyers are still some way off the asking price Liverpool have set to prise the winger away from Anfield.
Potential destinations on offer at Coral are:
- Bayern Munich – (1/8)
- Real Madrid – (10/1)
- Barcelona – (20/1)
The player himself has not yet made an official announcement regarding his future but hinted to a big announcement prior to the Champions League Final and it does seem a move to Bayern Munich is on the cards. However, the German side have so far not made any offer Liverpool would deem acceptable for their star winger.
Our Tip – Liverpool will play hardball here but I think Bayern Munich (1/8) will eventually find an offer that suits the Reds to sigh Mane as a replacement for Lewandowski. I would not be surprised to see a cash plus player deal (perhaps involving Serge Gnabry) to get the job done.
Keep your eyes out for more Transfer Specials being added to the markets available over the coming weeks as teams make their decisions about which players they will keep and who they are willing to let go in readiness for the new season.
