We hit six out of the ten results last time out which means over the last two weekend’s we’ve averaged 7/10 correct calls, not bad at all, especially when you consider it took two very unexpected results, Arsenal’s draw with Wolves and Chelsea’s draw with Everton in order for me to land just six games.
At least this shows that tipping-wise, I have been in good shape over the last couple of weeks and now with the Premier League returning for a long run of games through to the first week of January, when the FA Cup 3rd Round takes place, there has never been a better time to get signed up with the latest bet365 New Player Bonus that could see you land an extra ÂŁ100 in bet credits when you join up.

Manchester City however continue to be two points ahead of the Reds following their excellent and emphatic 3-1 derby victory over Manchester United.
Spurs cemented their hold on fourth with a 1-0 win away to Crystal Palace combined with Arsenal unexpectedly dropping points at home to Wolves, with only a late goal salvaging a draw for the Gunners against a Wolves side that bounced back to form after a run of defeats.
At the other end of the table, Huddersfield earned a point with West Ham but they dropped to 19th place after Cardiff earned a 2-1 win over Brighton. Southampton remain just ahead of the Bluebirds, by virtue of the point they picked up in their 1-1 home draw with Watford. Newcastle were the big winners of the weekend though with Rafa Benitez side earning their second successive win of the season to move them up to 14th in the table after defeating Bournemouth.

Premier League Matchday 13 Preview and Tips
Below are the odds from bet365 Sport for the weekend’s action in the Premier League, the odds displayed are the Full Time Result odds for the ten matches.
*All odds shown were correct as of 12.30pm on Tuesday 20th November 2018
- Brighton v Leicester City – Draw
Two mid-table teams battle it out on the south coast in what should be a close one. Leicester have had two decent results in their last two games whereas Brighton have lost both their last two, but the Seagulls are strong at home and with Leicester’s form being so patchy this season, especially against mid to lower table teams, I think this one will see the points shared between the two teams.
- Everton v Cardiff City – Home Win
Everton boss Marco Silva will have been thrilled with the way his side ground out a 0-0 draw away to Chelsea in their last game and now with Cardiff at home, he will know this is a big opportunity for his team to kick on ahead of the Merseyside derby next weekend. Cardiff come into the game though on the back of a win too but Neil Warnock’s men have struggled on the road and it is hard to see them claiming a positive result at Goodison Park.
- Fulham v Southampton – Draw
Claudio Ranieri has been appointed as the new Fulham manager and will be desperate for his team to stop the slide that has seen them drop to the foot of the table. As such, against a less than expansive Southampton team, I think Fulham will end their long losing streak, however, this is a game I feel has all the hallmarks of a draw.
- Manchester United v Crystal Palace – Home Win
After defeat to Manchester City and Spurs last time out, both these teams will feel the pressure on them to get a positive result here, but Manchester United markedly more so as the home team. Jose Mourinho’s men have lost four times already this season in the league but I don’t think this goal-shy Crystal Palace team will be in any danger of adding to that total.
- Watford v Liverpool – Away Win
Watford have beaten Tottenham at home this season, but their form of late has been a little patchy, whereas Liverpool’s league form remains unbeaten and impressive. The Reds attack isn’t as free-scoring as last season but defensively they are very strong and if they can keep a clean sheet here then I feel that the Reds will secure another comfortable away win either by a single goal or a 2-0 scoreline.
- West Ham v Manchester City – Away Win
West Ham have earned a draw with Chelsea and beaten Manchester United at home this season, but Manchester City are a step up from both those teams and in truth, it is hard to see how West Ham can defend effectively against City’s mesmerising attacks. City won’t allow the Hammers to dominate the game and as such, with City likely to have more possession, I feel they will hurt the home side and claim another win.
- Tottenham v Chelsea – Draw
The biggest game of the weekend pits fourth against third as Tottenham take on Chelsea in a massive London derby. Chelsea remain unbeaten in the Premier League, while Spurs have tasted defeat on three occasions, however Pochettino’s men have won more games than Chelsea (nine to Chelsea’s eight) this season, so this should be a cracker. Chelsea tend to have the better of these games in recent times but I just have a feeling Spurs will do enough to claim a point.
- Bournemouth v Arsenal – Away Win
Arsenal’s long winning run has stalled after two draws in their last two home games and they now face a tricky trip to Bournemouth, one of three sides chasing them down on 20 points. Eddie Howe’s men have been generally excellent this season, but they do blow hot and cold and in truth, Arsenal’s attacking pace on the counter attack means I feel that they are the team most likely to end up with three points on the south coast on Sunday.
- Wolves v Huddersfield Town – Home Win
Wolves returned to form with an excellent performance in the draw away at Arsenal last time out, a game that perhaps they deserved to win. Huddersfield’s recent performances have been better but this is a very tough trip and if the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal, Everton and Manchester United can’t better Wolves, then I fear David Wagner’s men will be on the wrong end of the result.
- Burnley v Newcastle United – Draw
Following on from their two wins in succession, Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez will not want the momentum his team has gained in those two games to come to a halt here and they have a decent chance against a Burnley side that have been very inconsistent this season. Burnley need points desperately too, but they do lot look anywhere near the team they were last season and I feel Newcastle should be good for a share of the spoils.
