It’s rare that Bet365 Sport offers short term promotions as the site much prefers to offer punters consistent value over a longer period by running much longer offers. However, this great offer to celebrate the start of Monday Night Football in the UK with Manchester City taking on Everton in the Premier League, is one well worth taking note of.
However, you are going to have to be quick as this offer is only available tonight between 16:30 GMT and 21:45 GMT so you are going to have to move fast to take part. That said, I would hazard a guess and say that if the offer proves to be a great success, Bet365 may well be keen to replicate the offer for another game in the near future.
This offer is open to all current Bet365 customers and even available for new customers that have just signed up with any of the Bet365 sites and on offer is a total of 20 Bonus Spins at Bet365 Casino, on a choice of one of six outstanding slot games.

So how will Monday Night’s game between two of the biggest spenders this summer in the Premier League pan out? Let’s take a closer look at each team and take an educated guess.
Manchester City v Everton Monday Night Football Preview
With Manchester City having spent over £200m and Everton splashing over £125m on new players this summer, you would be forgiven for thinking you are looking at a match between two of the Premier League’s richest clubs.
While that is certainly the case for Manchester City, Everton’s newly acquired wealth is partly down to a new member of the board, increased revenue from the Sky TV deal and the purported £90m sale of star striker Romelu Lukaku to City’s rivals, Manchester United.
So how well have the teams performed over the pre season period in readiness for the new season? Let’s take a look and find out.
Manchester City Transfer Window Transactions
- Key Players Signed – Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker, Bernardo Silva, Ederson, Danilo (£205.65m spent)
- Key Players Sold/Loaned/Released – Kelechi Iheanacho, Nolito, Fernando, Aleksandr Kolarov, Jesus Navas, Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy, Willy Caballero, Joe Hart (loaned to West Ham) Bacary Sagna (released) (£62.8m recouped)
- Last Result – v Brighton (A) W 2-0. (Aguero 70, Dunk Own Goal 75)
Manchester City Pre Season Verdict
Pep Guardiola clearly saw City’s defence as his main worry last year and he has invested heavily in defensive players with two right backs (Walker and Danilo), one left back (Mendy) and a goalkeeper (Ederson) all brought in. Whether they are the pieces that turn City into genuine title contenders remains to be seen.
A 2-0 win last weekend at Brighton was a decent start but City were unconvincing at times and they will certainly face a tougher task this evening against an Everton side that is now packed with talent after a very busy preseason.
Going forward, City remain a real threat though with Aguero and Gabriel Jesus likely to be the main attacking threats, with Silva, De Bruyne and Sterling providing the creative impetus from midfield along with new signing Bernardo Silva.
City are stronger this year but whether they have resolved the defensive inconsistencies that dogged them last season remains to be seen, but we should have a much better idea about that following the end of the game tonight.
Everton Transfer Window Transactions
- Key Players Signed – Gylffi Sigurdsson, Michael Keane, Davy Klaassen, Jordan Pickford, Sandro, Wayne Rooney, Cuco Martina (£125.4m spent)
- Key Players Sold/Loaned/Released – Romely Lukaku, Gerard Deulofeu, Tom Cleverley, Arouna Kone, Gareth Barry (£95.1m recouped)
- Last Result – V Stoke City (H) W 1-0 (Rooney 45)
Everton Pre Season Verdict
The loss of Romelu Lukaku is a big void for Everton to fill in attack and while Sandro is not proven at Premier League level, Wayne Rooney certainly is and the England man will certainly help the Toffees overcome the loss of the big Belgian striker.
Alongside those two summer signings, Everton have strengthened the spine of their team greatly with the signing of the talented young goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, England centre-back Michael Keane, plus the talented Dutchman Davy Klaassen and after a long pursuit, the Icelandic creator and goalscoring midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Add that up and I think this is an Everton team well equipped to improve on last season’s 7th placed finish. Whether they can reach that top four and the Champions League I am not yet sure, but a draw or even a win away from home tonight against genuine title contenders would enhance their credentials greatly.
