Last week we went through each of the 16 matches in the Europa League Round of 32 First Leg ties and we had a pretty decent return on those fixtures, so hoping to give the bookmakers a bit of a pounding again, we have focused on the second leg of these games for the first of this week’s two articles, with the second being focused on Sunday’s big Cup Final clash as Chelsea face Manchester City in the final of the Carabao Cup at Wembley.
Before that though both teams will be in action in midweek, Chelsea facing Man Utd in the FA Cup on Monday night before Manchester City play Schalke 04 on the road on Wednesday in the Champions League. Before that though, we have a big night of Europa League action to enjoy as the 16 teams that are progressing into the Round of 16 will be known following the second leg of the games we tipped last week.

Europa League Round of 32 Second Leg
Wednesday 20th February
Sevilla (1) v (0) Lazio
The Spanish side were worthy winners of this clash in Rome last week producing an experienced and controlling performance against the Italians who were worryingly lacklustre in this competition once again. On home soil, and with huge Europa League experience as five-time winners, I am expecting Sevilla to claim a victory (3/4 with bet365) and to progress into the Round of 16.
Thursday 21st February
Arsenal (0) v (1) BATE Borisov
The Gunners were on the wrong end of a shock result last week when BATE Borisov stunned many by inflicting a 1-0 defeat on the Gunners, who also had Alexander Lacazette sent off late into the game. With the Frenchman suspended for the return, the Gunners should still have enough to progress, but a BATE goal could make for a very nervy evening. I’m backing Arsenal to win at 1/7.
Dynamo Zagreb (1) v (2) Viktoria Plzen
Plzen deservedly take a lead into the second leg in this game but they are going to have to overcome their awayday jitters in Europe in order to progress. Zagreb is a tough place to go and pick up a positive result and that away goal gives the Croatian side a real chance. Even so, I still think Plzen will do just enough by clinching the draw here (13/5).
Eintracht Frankfurt (2) v (2) Shakhtar Donetsk
This is going to be a cracking match between two of the better teams left in the competition. Frankfurt won all six of their group games and did superbly well to earn a draw in Donetsk, but Shakhtar are a freescoring side. I can see both teams scoring again here and this could be one that is decided by a single goal and I feel that will be in Frankfurt’s (10/11) favour.
Red Bull Salzburg (1) v (2) Club Brugge
Red Bull Salzburg lost their first game in the competition away to Brugge last week but the away goal they scored in Belgium will make them confident of turning things around in the home leg. Brugge though are no pushover and while I can see Salzburg winning on the night (8/15), it could be by a 2-1 scoreline that forces extra time and maybe even penalties to decide the winner.
Napoli (3) v (1) FC Zurich
This is a relatively straightforward pick as Napoli bossed the first leg in Russia very comfortably to take a big lead into the home leg and I would be very surprised if they don’t repeat or improve on that performance in front of their own fans. Napoli to win here (2/11).
Valencia (2) v (0) Celtic

Celtic were once again found out by a top level side in Valencia at Parkhead last week and I think their chances of progressing from the game in the Mestalla are almost zero. Thety may get a goal but I still feel Valencia are a much stronger all round side and at 4/7 I would expect the home side to land another win here.
Villarreal (1) v (0) Sporting Lisbon
I was somewhat surprised that Sporting Lisbon were defeated on home soil as they have a good record at home in Europe, but Villarreal are one of the most experienced Europa League sides and they put that to good use in the first leg. However this game is not over and I am expecting Lisbon to put up a good fight here and I think a draw at 5/2 is a solid bet.
Zenit St Petersburg (0) v (1) Fenerbahce
Zenit were beaten in Turkey and in truth did not put in a particularly inspiring performance but they are a much more difficult side to beat on home soil and Fenerbahce are a side that don’t tend to travel well. As such, I am backing Zenit to win this game (evens) and I also feel that they will eventually progress into the next round too.
Bayer Leverkusen (0) v (0) Krasnodar
Just two games finished goalless in the Round of 16 and this was one but I think Leverkusen hold the aces here as they have a strong home record while Krasnodar are not the best outside of Russia. It will be close but I am backing Leverkusen to progress at 9/20.
Benfica (2) v (1) Galatasaray
The Portuguese side put in a fantastic display to beat Galatasaray on home soil in the away leg and as a result, I am expecting them to do precisely the same again in the home leg (4/6) in order to make quick and easy progress into the Round of 16.
Chelsea (2) v (1) Malmo FF

Chelsea scored their first away goals of 2019 in the first leg of this tie and they will win this one at home too against a Malmo side still in pre-season. I can see Chelsea resting players for this one which should make it more competitive, especially with the Carabao Cup Final on the horizon and having played an FA Cup tie on the Monday night too. Chelsea still to win though (1/6).
Dynamo Kiev (2) v (2) Olympiakos
A very entertaining game in Greece saw Olympiakos and Kiev share four goals and I think the Ukrainian side will be happiest of the two teams. Olympiakos are not the best travellers in Europe and with the match being held in Kiev, I am backing Dynamo to run out winners on the night (11/10) to make it into the Round of 16.
Genk (0) v (0) Slavia Prague
This was one of only two goalless ties of the Round of 32 and it sets up an intriguing second leg. Genk will feel they have the edge playing on home soil but I can see Slavia scoring a goal which means Genk will need two to win it. However I think the Belgian side will do just enough to progress (10/11).
Inter Milan (1) v (0) Rapid Vienna
The Italian side put in a solid performance in Austria against tricky opposition to claim a 1-0 win in the away leg, which should make the home leg at the San Siro a formality. Vienna are a decent side but they are no match for Inter when they are at their best. Inter should win this one easily at odds of 3/10.
Real Betis (3) v (3) Rennes
This was a fantastic game in France with Betis coming from 3-1 down to clinch a draw with a last minute equaliser. I fancy the Spanish team to win the home leg (13/20) though and if that happens, then they will be making it through to the next round.
