If you are a fan of boxing, then the next few months through to the end of the year promises much in terms of the sheer number of quality fights, and grudge matches, that are scheduled to take place between now and the 31st December.
Having already witnessed some incredible bouts this year, such as Joshua v Usyk II, Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano headlining Madison Square Garden, while just a couple of weeks back Natasha Jonas won her second world title in some style in front of her home crowd in Liverpool.
Other sensational fights stretching back to the start of 2022 include Kell Brook beating Amir Khan, Josh Taylor’s controversial split decision win over Jack Catterall, Tyson Fury defeating Dillian Whyte, and Canelo Alvarez surprisingly losing to Dmitri Bivol at light heavyweight.
However, there are still some outstanding bouts to come over the remainder of the year and if you enjoy a bet on the boxing, then bet365 Sport is offering a odds on all of the top fights listed below.
And remember, as we head closer to fight night, then the number of markets available on each bout will increase in number.
The action begins this weekend with arguably one of the biggest and certainly one of the most eagerly awaited fights in many years as Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Gennady “GGG” Golovkin get ready to do battle for the third time after two controversial fights a few years back.

Sunday 18th September – Saul Alvarez v Gennadiy Golovkin III
This weekend’s big fight sees Canelo and GGG meet for the third time after two explosive and controversial fights a few years back.
Canelo was adjudged to have won the first fight by a split decision, despite most commentators and viewers having Golovkin as the winner. In the second fight, most pundits also felt that Golovkin had done just enough to claim the win, but the fight was declared a draw.
Many years have passed since then and there is no doubt that neither fighter is at the level they were when they first fought.
Canelo lost his last fight at light heavyweight to Dmitri Bivol and Golovkin was an uninspiring winner in his last bout, but you can be sure both will be fired up for this.
However, Canelo is the man to back here as he is 1/6 for the win, with GGG a 4/1 option to finally land the win in the series that he probably deserves to have on his record.
Saturday 24th September – Joe Joyce v Joseph Parker
British heavyweight contender Joe Joyce is hoping for a world title shot sooner rather than later and he faces his toughest test as a professional to date when taking on the former World Champion, New Zealander Joseph Parker.
Joyce is naturally a much larger fighter than Parker, but what he has as a size and height advantage, Parker has an advantage when it comes to greater experience at this world level.
Despite that, the New Zealander has looked a little past his best in recent bouts and while difficult to knock out, the feeling is that Joyce should be able to put his height and size advantage to good use to claim the win.
Joyce is 4/9 favourite to win the fight, with Parker a 13/8 option but I think it will be much closer than those odds suggest.
Saturday 8th October – Chris Eubank Jr v Conor Benn
Benn v Eubank conjures up some of the most incredible Middleweight action of the 1990s in the UK but this time, it is not Nigel and Chris that will be in the ring, but their sons Conor and Chris Jr.
This catchweight contest will reignite that famous feud and sees the unbeaten Benn (21-0) taking on the naturally bigger opponent in Eubank Jr, who has lost just two of his 34 fights as a professional (32-2).
This is certainly a legacy fight, as both boxers tend to box at a different weight to each other, which has meant that a catchweight option has been used so that both fighters can make an agreed weight limit. Although Chris Eubank senior is not believed to be too happy with this.
As the naturally bigger man, Eubank Jr is the 4/9 favourite with bet365 to land the win with Conor Benn a 13/8 outsider, despite his unbeaten record.

Saturday 15th October – Claressa Shields v Savannah Marshall
Moved from last weekend to the middle of October, the eagerly anticipated clash between two of the top ten pound-for-pound fighters in women’s boxing, and to unify the Middleweight division to a single undisuted champion, will now take place on October 15th.
Shields holds the majority of the belts and has only been beaten once in her professional and amateur career. However, that defeat came at the heavy, hard-hitting hands of British fighter Marshall when they met in a bout in China in 2012.
Marshall has come back from some indifferent spells in her amateur career to land a world title and is also unbeaten as a professional.
The bookies can’t split them with both fighters 10/11 to win the bout, which should make for a spectacular contest in a few weeks’ time.
Sunday 16th October – Deontay Wilder v Robert Helenius
Despite rumours he had retired following his loss to Tyson Fury in their third fight, Deontay Wilder will return to the ring in mid-October to take on the Fighting Finn Robert Helenius.
Helenius has revived his career after losses to Dillian Whyte and Gerald Washington, with two good wins over Adam Kownacki in his last two performances in the United States and he travels to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as the massive 9/2 underdog in this fight.
It seems most pundits feel that Wilder’s famous punching power may well be too much for the Finnish heavyweight to deal with, with bet365 having the American as 1/8 to land the win in the Big Apple.
Helenius is no Tyson Fury and as such, it would be a massive surprise if the American fighter does not win this one by knockout or TKO.
Sunday 30th October – Jake Paul v Anderson Silva
The YouTube and Social Media star turned professional boxer Jake Paul will fight once again just before Halloween and he will be facing one of the most famous stars of MMA in Anderson Silva.
In an MMA bout, Silva would likely be a massive favourite, but with this bout being a boxing match only, Anderson is rated as the 10/13 favourite, just ahead of the unbeaten Paul who is a 10/11 shot to win his fifth fight in a row.
Anderson has had four boxing bouts in his career, winning his last three, although the first was back in 2005, although in his most recent bout against Tito Ortiz in September 2021, he won by a knockout.
While this fight doesn’t hold much standing in the boxing community, it will certainly be a big deal for those who follow Jake Paul on social media, as well as the MMA community who have already seen Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley (twice) defeated by Paul in his fledgling boxing career.
Silva is a replacement for Tommy Fury, who was denied the chance to travel to the United States to fight Paul due to visa issues and he looks like being Paul’s toughest test yet.

Sometime in November/December – Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua
The biggest bet on this fight at the moment is whether it will go ahead! However, it seems that Anthony Joshua has agreed to the terms Tyson Fury’s team suggested and now it is down to the two camps to thrash out an exact date and venue for the fight acceptable to both.
That may be tougher than many people expect given the fractious nature of discussions between the two camps in the past but should the fight go ahead, it would certainly be one of the biggest fights in British boxing history.
Fury has the World Title and has a long-held enmity towards Joshua, who is seeking redemption after losing three of his last five fights. It’s no understatement to state that Joshua would be fighting to salvage his boxing career in this bout.
This is the fight that British boxing fans have wanted to see for a very long time and bet365 has Fury as the hot favourite at the moment at 2/9 to win the bout, with Joshua the 3/1 underdog after his recent defeats.
