Closely related to RTP, but with an important difference, volatility is about the average amounts that are paid out. For example, low volatility slots pay out often but the prizes are generally small. That makes them a less risky option than high volatility slots, which don’t pay out very often, but when they do, the prizes are big.
W is for wilds
Wild symbols are so great. They come in a few different forms, which all have one thing in common. They substitute for almost all symbols, maximising your chances of hitting additional paylines.
Z is for zig-zag
Traditional slots, like three-liners, pay out in a straight line. But things are different these days. Most slots you’ll play now have zig-zag paylines, which mean you can get payouts for matches across several different types of patterns. And that is a great note to end our a-z of slots!
